Teachers, Tell Me About The Time A Student Hilariously Misunderstood The Assignment

    The holidays are over, and the kids are back in class. Surely, for the teachers of the BuzzFeed Community, the past few weeks have (hopefully) provided some much-needed time to unwind and recharge.

    Hopefully, some of you got to sink your teeth into some good books, hang out with family, and catch up on the latest season of Squid Game.

    Now that we're back in a second semester of school –whether the high school teachers or university profs– there's another semester to challenge your students and watch them grow academically.

    However, there are bound to be a few mistakes on the way. After all, mistakes are often the best teacher.

    For the educators reading this, I want to know about a time when a student hilariously misunderstood a lesson.
